Snow Day 2015 A family-friendly event featuring holiday pictures with Anna, Elsa & Olaf , snow special effects and activities, live music, bounce houses and slide, face painting. 10th Annual Salty Sam’s Fort Myers Beach Pirate Festival Celebrate a decade of pirate debauchery, complete with a pirate ball, pub quest, live music and performances, ship battles and children’s activities! Punkin-palooza: Fleamasters’ 5th Annual Great Pumpkin Festival Three days of live music, pumpkin patch and family-friendly fall fun. Eighth Annual Cops & Joggers 5K and Family Fun Night The first 700 registered participants are guaranteed an event goodie bag and T-shirt. Benefiting fallen first responders, this year’s event has the glow of first responders’ lights lining the race path. The family event will also include music, food vendors, emergency equipment displays, and a children’s fun area with bounce houses, a dunk tank, SWAT obstacle courses and more. Beginning at 7:45 p.m., the 3.1 mile run begins and ends at Centennial Park and will cross the Edison Bridge. 5-10 p.m. $20 adult/$15 17 and younger by Oct. 8. Wedding Crashers Party A local couple invites the public to join them for a “Wedding Crashers” reception after their private ceremony. Much like the movie “Wedding Crashers,” (where actors Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson crash a wedding as a way to meet single women), the bride and groom are inviting strangers to crash their nuptials.
